Nancy Drew Mystery

Book Report

    The Mystery at Lilac Inn was written by Carolyn Keene.  This mystery fiction takes place in River Height which is in Ontario, Canada.  This book is 179 pages long. 

  

 The Mystery at Lilac Inn is about Nancy Drew who is an eighteen year old detective.   Strange things are happening at Lilac Inn.   A bomb has gone off and people say it is haunted.   Nancy’s friend, Emily, bought the Inn and is getting married.   Nancy goes to be her bridesmaid and solves the mystery.   Nancy has blonde hair, blue eyes, and a spunky attitude.   She’s very good at scuba diving and solving mysteries.

  

  There are many questions to be asked in solving the mystery.  Who set off the bomb?  Who is impersonating Nancy Drew?  Who broke into her house?  Who stole the diamonds?  Why are there sharks in fresh water?

    

 I recommend this book because it is holds your interest while telling the mystery.   The ending is surprising so it is worthwhile to read.  Since I read this book, I have decided that Carolyn Keene’s books are very good to read.  They are good for a rainy day or for evening reading.
